Drawing and painting have always been some of my favorite forms of creating art and a process that brings me joy and calm. They let me explore ideas, emotions, and the world around me in a way that feels both personal and endlessly expressive. The process centers on exploration of line, value, and contrast to build depth and narrative. Life Drawing at Flathead Valley Community College helped me with human anatomy and drawing composition. Decisions are guided by mood, movement, and intentional mark-making to create visual flow. The result serves as a thoughtful interpretation of subject and space. I plan to always continue drawing and painting in my free time as a way to consistently grow and refine my skills!
